If you are at all like me, you try to live an eco friendly life. When you buy and use Abundance Soaps, you are already being kinder to the environment by not using dyes, chemical synthetic fragrances, phalates, parabens, and petroleum products.
You can feel good that what you use on your family and yourself is natural (a word that is overused and incorrectly used lately) and from the earth with little to no alterations. Zero waste is trying to reduce packaging as well as consumption of things we don't need. We need soap and hygiene. Do we need all of the plastic and paper, though? My family uses glass containers for food storage. We use a lot of canning jars. I would love to package your liquid soaps and body butters in glass, but the danger of dropping a wet container and having it shatter is real. So instead, we use recycled plastic where possible. We use the hardest, strongest plastic with no bph. Now, you can purchase your soaps NAKED. That is without labels. They will be cheaper to purchase and you can still find the ingredients listed either on our site or by dropping us an email and we will send them to you. Thanks for joining with us on this journey. I so appreciate each of you.

Grand Rapids Applebutter Festival Living History along the canal in Grand Rapids, OH 8 am to 5pm What a world...where makers create exactly what you need for a reasonable price. I want to do that AND be generous with my abundance. Help me out.
What do you need? I love to hear from each of you. In fact, I'm going to do a better job at sharing the lovely things you pass on to me here on this site. I love asking questions, because most times others have experienced the same struggle as I'm going through and have really valuable suggestions. Isn't that what community is about? Sharing, caring, helping. Some of you like to use Facebook, others Instagram, others email and some leave notes on their orders. Any way that you prefer to communicate is great. Please do keep me posted on what you need, what you like, what you don't like and what's happening with you and your family. I know right now, if I went to Mariposa, CA I'd look up Sharon Johnston. If my car broke down in Gas City, IN the first person I'd call is CJ Childs. I could go on and on. Thank-you! Let me know what you think, if it's weird having a blog right on a website. I'm thinking and hoping it's efficient and helpful. I want to keep you in the loop, as a part of creation and life. Karin PS. I know a lot of cool people. IF you are interested in guest blogging or learning about something, drop me a comment or connect any way. We will see what we can drum up. If you've ordered our dryer balls in the past month, you've seen on the back of the label is a circled name. Our ladies deserve to have credit placed were it is due.
I would love to have you get to know each of them and their quirky personalities, post pictures of their care and shearing and have them be pets for all of you. It's the least I can do as they are sharing their lovely fiber. Becky Becky is the lightest of our girls. Her fiber is buff colored. Miatta Miatta was purchased by her previous owner for a LOT of money. She is very fine boned and almost a rose grey color. Missy Missy is the reddest of our girls. Her fiber is almost identical to Walker (the boyfriend). Taylor Taylor is our black and darkest alpaca. She is her own animal, choosing to have alone time often. Walker Walks (as I affectionately call him) is our male. He is a feisty booger, but very sweet when he's in his fence. |
